1chess.online publishes educational chess content, interactive tools, and product information for 1Chess Clock. Contact details appear on the Contact page.
What the service provides
We provide free articles, a chess wiki, lightweight tools (such as FEN and Elo helpers), and optional pilot signup. Features may change as the product pilot evolves.
App store listings and Android apps are separate products. Their store terms and in-app policies also apply when you install or use those apps.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no automated scraping that degrades service, no attempts to break security, and no unlawful content in forms or feedback.
Pilot content is for personal learning and fair educational use. Do not republish substantial portions as your own commercial course without permission.
Accounts and pilot list
Browsing content does not require an account. Pilot signup uses email verification. You may unsubscribe using the links we provide.
Disclaimer
Content is provided for educational purposes. Chess rules references aim to follow public standards such as the FIDE Laws of Chess, but tournament directors and official rulebooks remain authoritative in competition.
Tools are helpers, not certified rating or arbitration systems. Ratings calculators and validators can be incomplete for edge cases.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1chess.online is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on educational content.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
